Dr. Michelle Koval PT, DPT, PRPC
Doctor of Physical Therapy
I am an active mom of three nut balls. I enjoy running, lifting, and riding my Peloton bike to nowhere. I especially love helping others return to running or their activity of choice. I specialize in pelvic floor dysfunction inclusive of all genders, restoring core strength, improving sexual function, antenatal and post partum recovery, as well as bladder and bowel concerns.
"I felt very comfortable with Dr. Michelle. Easy to talk with, she is a very knowledgeable Dr. I really appreciated the time she took to make sure we knew what was going on with my pelvic floor. I love the print outs and videos that reinforce the information she explained during my visit. She is passionate about her work! So thankful for her services to help me heal!"

Some days I have it together and other days I find my keys in the fridge
I am a graduate of the University of Dayton and received my Doctorate in physical therapy from Northwestern University in 2009. My interest in pelvic health began after having my first child and after being told "go for it" from my provider. I went for it, and realized I went too hard, too fast and created my own issues. I had no idea what I was doing, but did some research and realized that there was something I could do to help not only myself, but others as well. At that time I began my education into the pelvic health world and continue to take education courses regularly as our field continues to develop and grow. I am specifically trained in manual techniques to assist in recovery, visceral mobilization techniques, dry needling, cupping, as well as being able to create and develop exercise based programs for continued strengthening. I have received the highest credentials from the Herman and Wallace pelvic rehabilitation institute - Pelvic Rehabilitation Practioner Certification in 2020. I love and embrace the anatomical puzzle that the pelvis and pelvic floor creates within this amazing system of our body.
